Messages on the wall

Graffiti, Normal part of a country culture, but no in all places it used is used in the same way by the graffiti artists, It is accord to the situation of the country or a more specific place(state, city, etc.) There are many similarities in many places with the use of the graffiti like Colombia and Honduras, in Colombia, many graffiti express complaints and disagreement with social and political problematic, but there are also graffiti that show the richness of Colombian culture and its origins. Graffiti in Colombia is the voice of the people in the walls, while in Honduras, the country problematic with violence is a main topic of graffiti and more than criticize as Colombian graffiti, it is used to create awareness of the issue and capture the reality there. But in Honduras, in contrast to Colombia, graffiti is also use by political parties to plaster propaganda and slogans so there could be a silent conversation between political parties and people reactions just captured in the walls.
In Brazil, as similar to Colombia, graffiti is used to show disagreement with political climate and corruption but also to protest about the destruction of the natural resources, which are the treasure of Brazilians, in benefit of the big cities.
                                                  (Graffiti opposing to racism)

In contrast to the way  that this three countries uses the graffiti and also in south America, Argentina uses the graffiti as street art, creating a outdoor gallery in the streets. The graffiti in Argentina express feelings and meanings more than specific ideas about social or political events.

                                                                 (Art Graffiti)

Graffiti is not the same in all places; it has different meanings depending on the culture, but if something is true is that always graffiti artists give us a variety of messages with their art.

  1. As you said graffiti are not the same in different places , it depends on the culture and the situation of the country, i think that this form of non verbal communication is one of the best ways to show the disagreement with the goverment and the society because they make it pacifically. i think that we should all imitate Argentina and start to look graffiti as art and not as vandalism
